The intro trial with Kate was extremely helpful in opening my eyes to ADHD and understanding the varying types and symptoms in which it can present itself. I feel that I have a more in-depth understanding of how I can carry on exploring ADHD with my therapist outside of this program, starting with learning to differentiate anxiety vs. ADHD and how I can better navigate both issues so that I may live in the most productive yet self-caring manner in the day-to-day.

I was recently diagnosed with ADHD around 6 months back, interestingly enough, when Kate said I should look into it. I had depression and anxiety diagnoses, and never thought of ADHD. After I was diagnosed I was sort of angry and didn’t do the exploring I would normally do. That’s why I was glad for this class. First of all, Kate is not only very knowledgeable in the subject, she is excited to share about it and help others understand the particulars of ADHD. The class is fact-based, but also allows for personal experience, as you share and learn from others who also have ADHD. I looked forward to not only learning about how my mind and body worked on ADHD, but also gaining a community and speaking to like-minded people every week. Kate is helping people understand and appreciate ADHD on a daily basis, and this class is more of a deep dive into the important task she has taken on. I hope this class continues to help others understand themselves or loved ones, as it as helped me.

This course was so informative and insightful for those who were recently diagnosed with ADHD and wanting to learn more about the ins and outs of their diagnosis. I love that this course is geared towards women and is designed to help show how ADHD shows up differently in women. Kate is an excellent instructor and works diligently to answer questions and keep the course in line with what her students need to discuss. I highly recommend this course.

I loved it! Very interesting course! Kate explained difficult concepts so that I could understand them easily and furthermore provided useful and well researched information in form of academic literature or podcasts of fellow ADHDers that fit the topics we were talking about in class. Moreover, every week I was looking forward to connect with others with ADHD, especially people living in Japan. Thank you for having me in your class, Kate!
